Isgec Heavy Engineering takes over cogeneration plant at alumina refinery in Odisha

Isgec Heavy Engineering Ltd. said that it has taken over the operation and maintenance of a 90MW cogeneration plant for one of the major alumina refineries in Odisha.

The cogeneration plant is made up of three units of 30MW each.

The Indian heavy engineering company said that in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, a team of more than 350 has been mobilized by it successfully for delivering higher efficiency, better economics, and higher reliability while complying with environmental norms.

Isgec Heavy Engineering claims to have a huge operational data bank from more than 1,000 installations totalling to over 40GW across the world.

Earlier this year,  the heavy engineering company won a contract to supply a slop fired boiler from an undisclosed firm in the sugar industry for its distillery plant in India.
