Located in Gulf Square, Infosys Digital Centre is expected to help Infosys to collaborate further with clients in the region to build cross-industry solutions.

According to Infosys, the solutions will be targeted to address the pressing business challenges in areas like intelligent automation, user experience, green technology, and advanced digital technologies such as cloud and big data.

The new digital hub of Infosys in Calgary will train, upskill, and reskill employees of the company as well as that of its clients in the technologies needed to help Canadian businesses expedite their digital transformation.

Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek said: “Infosys’ choice to establish Calgary as a major technology centre is a big moment for our city and further demonstrates our city as a prime destination for the world’s leading technology companies.

“Building a thriving innovation ecosystem takes a village, and Infosys will play a key role in our growth. In particular, Infosys’ partnerships with local universities to train Calgary students and create job opportunities will help propel us forward.”
