Infosys, Microsoft join forces to speed up cloud adoption by industry

Infosys said that it will expand its collaboration with Microsoft in an effort to help expedite enterprise cloud transformation journeys around the world.

According to the Indian IT giant, the extended strategic alliance will be extremely beneficial to enterprises by offering them the best in Infosys Cobalt cloud services and Microsoft’s cloud computing capabilities which are led by Azure across the value chain of business.

The growing collaboration will be reflected in the introduction of Infosys Cobalt solutions into Microsoft’s cloud services for industry, which will enable enterprises to create flexible cloud-powered platforms that can innovate on a large scale.

The capabilities that are shared across the areas of application modernization, enterprise-level solutions such as data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), digital workplace solutions, low-code, zero-code-powered platforms, and cybersecurity advances can provide a solid base for cloud-driven transformation, said Infosys.

Enterprises will gain the advantages that come with top-of-the-line Microsoft platforms, as well as Infosys Cobalt’s cloud-powered services, designed to reduce time-to-market and increase value.

The extended engagement can also improve the employee experience and increase overall efficiency.

Infosys Cobalt solutions and Microsoft technologies provide more than 300,000 Infosys employees to experience hyper-personalized, highly human-like experiences that are enabled by an app that’s accessible across different devices and serves as a central point for all information and actions. It’s also integrated with a variety of corporate systems, including Microsoft Dynamics365, and enabled with high-end security.

Additionally, the collaboration of Infosys Cobalt as well as Microsoft Commerce to drive extreme automation of launch of new products is another area in which both companies are working together to develop new products across the value chain for business by making use of Azure.
