Infosys launches digital commerce platform called Infosys Equinox

Infosys has launched a new digital commerce platform called Infosys Equinox for enabling enterprises securely provide hyper-segmented, customized omnichannel commerce experiences for B2B and B2C buyers.

According to the Indian IT services provider, the future-ready architecture of the platform gives flexibility for enterprises for picking and choosing out-of-the-box microservices. Besides, enterprises can also get pre-built experiences for creating curated digital journeys for boosting their digital commerce or launch their grounds-up in a short space of time.

Infosys claimed that Infosys Equinox also brings together the company and its partners’ best-of-breed service, product, industry, and platform capabilities in an integrated ecosystem. This gives enterprises an end-to-end commerce-as-a-service to drive results right through the purchase lifecycle, said the Indian IT giant.

Infosys Equinox is said to help businesses transform their digital commerce across marketing, e-commerce, merchandizing, supply chain, store operations, and customer service. The platform enables the transformation through its four offerings, which include Infosys Equinox Microservices, Infosys Equinox Experiences, Infosys Equinox Commerce, and Infosys Equinox Marketing.

Karmesh Vaswani — Infosys Retail and Logistics Executive Vice President and Global Head Consumer said: “With the customer experience landscape evolving every week, companies can’t afford to get into a ‘set it-forget it’ mode. Earlier this month, Infosys forged a partnership with media company The Economist Group in order to enable and accelerate sustainability solutions and bring in world-changing impact by implementing a new business-to-business model.
