Infosys collaborates with Skillsoft to democratize tech education in India

In a breakthrough development for digital skills education in India, Infosys, a trailblazer in digital services and consulting, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Skillsoft, a leader in delivering transformative learning experiences.

The strategic partnership aims to radically overhaul the education landscape, delivering free, high-quality learning resources from Skillsoft to students spanning from class 6 through to lifelong learners, courtesy of the Infosys Springboard initiative.

A key focus of the collaboration is the democratization of learning, making sophisticated, high-demand courses available to students of all backgrounds, as well as graduates and lifelong learners.

Course offerings range from entry-level to advanced study in pivotal areas such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), data science, cloud, and cybersecurity. Additionally, there are resources on crucial soft skills such as effective communication and presentation.

In a bid to widen access and inclusivity, the partnership ensures the availability of content in a broad range of Indian regional languages like Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, and several international languages, thereby obliterating language barriers for learners in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and across the globe.

This tie-up aligns with Infosys’ ESG Vision 2030, reinforcing its commitment to facilitating digital skills at an impressive scale and aiming to empower over 10 million Indians by 2025 through the Infosys Springboard program.

Since its inception, Infosys Springboard has already fostered a thriving community of more than 5.5 million registered users in India, and this latest partnership with Skillsoft is set to fuel further expansion.
