Indoco Remedies receives EU GMP certification for Baddi manufacturing site

Indoco Remedies, an Indian pharmaceutical company, has obtained the European Union (EU) Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification from the Competent Health Authority of Germany.

The certification applies to Indoco Remedies’  manufacturing site located at Katha village in Baddi, Nalagarh tehsil in the Solan district, Himachal Pradesh. This recognition follows a rigorous inspection conducted by the agency at Indoco Remedies’ manufacturing facility for oral dosage form (Baddi-III) from May 22 to 25, 2023.

The EU GMP certification, issued by the German Health Authority in Berlin, serves as confirmation that the manufacturing site complies with the high-quality manufacturing standards outlined in the EC Directive. This certification is crucial for Indoco as it enables the company to supply drug products registered in Europe from their Baddi manufacturing site.
