India’s Hexaware acquires US digital consultancy firm Mobiquity for $182m
Hexaware acquisition of Mobiquity : Indian IT consulting company Hexaware Technologies has agreed to acquire US digital consultancy firm Mobiquity for about $182 million.
Mobiquity creates digital products for well-known brands across the world such as Amazon Web Services, Wawa, Backbase, Rabobank, Philips, and Otsuka.
The digital consultancy firm, which has a global presence in three continents, specializes in creating multi-channel digital experiences using cloud technologies. Mobiquity is also a digital customer experience consulting partner for Amazon Web Services and is said to be an expert at leveraging the sophisticated capabilities of the latter.
Hexaware acquisition of Mobiquity is the largest ever investment for the former and the enlarged entity aims to compete directly with large digital agencies and consulting companies.
Commenting on Hexaware acquisition of Mobiquity, R Srikrishna – CEO of Hexaware Technologies, said: “Hexaware enters an exciting new phase of growth and capability with the acquisition of Mobiquity Inc. Hexaware, on the other hand, provided IT, BPO and consulting services. The company caters to customers in banking, financial services, insurance, capital markets, healthcare, professional, travel, manufacturing, retail, education, telecom, transportation and logistics.
Mobiquity will expand Hexaware’s global delivery presence with its centers across Florida, Boston, Pune, Ahmedabad, Philadelphia, New York, and Amsterdam.
