Indian Railways subsidiary RITES Ltd. opens office in Guwahati
RITES Ltd., a transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering company, has opened its first office in Guwahati, Assam.
The office of the Indian Railways subsidiary is located opposite the Assam Secretariat.
Pawan Chowdhry — RITES Ltd. Executive Director (Buildings & Airports) said: “We have been partnering with North-East in its development. Now, to further cement RITES’ presence in the region, we needed to have a centrally located office with dedicated staff.
“The Guwahati office will help RITES widen its growth potential multifold, as we continue to provide excellent infrastructure and consultancy services for projects across Assam and the rest of the North-East.”

RITES Ltd. said that the Guwahati office has been constructed in line with its strategy to set up its footprint near its projects, and to boost connectivity, accessibility, and mobility everywhere in North-East India.
The company’s ongoing projects across the North-East include institutional buildings for NIT-Meghalaya and IIM-Shillong apart from building works for Oil India Limited at Duliajan in Assam.
In addition to that, RITES Ltd. had recently entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Mizoram government for infrastructure works.
