ICICI Bank launches Salute Doctors banking solution

Indian private sector banking group ICICI Bank has launched ‘Salute Doctors’, which it claims to be a comprehensive banking solution for medical doctors.

Salute Doctors offers customized banking along with value-added services for all doctors, starting from a medical student to a senior medical consultant to a hospital or a clinic owner.

The banking solutions, which are predominantly digital and instant, will cover the professional, lifestyle, business, and wealth banking needs of doctors and their families.

ICICI Bank said that the Salute Doctors initiative is powered by the ICICI STACK digital banking platform with approximately 500 services that assists its customers use the services digitally and seamlessly.

The Salute Doctors banking solution offers doctors with a variety of premium savings and current accounts for personal as well as business banking. It also offers specially curated suite of loans for home, personal, auto, education, medical equipment, and for establishing clinic or hospital and business as well.

Additionally, the banking solution is said to offer industry first value added services, which are provided in partnership with partners to help doctors in fulfilling their lifestyle requirements, in managing better and digitally their clinic/hospital and get updates on latest medical developments, take care of accounting requirements, expand and buy medical supplies.

Pranav Mishra – Head of Liabilities, ICICI Bank said: “This proposition is an extension of ‘ICICI STACK’ which we launched a year ago to offer all banking services digitally from one platform. We have done extensive research on doctors across various stages of their career– right from medical students, senior doctors and owners of hospitals/ clinics- to understand their banking needs.”

Last month, ICICI Bank introduced a set of digital banking solutions for corporates and their entire ecosystem under the name – ICICI STACK for Corporates.
