Hyperion Materials & Technologies acquires Prism Technologies to enhance precision solutions portfolio
Hyperion Materials & Technologies, a leading global materials science company, has officially announced its plan to acquire Prism Technologies, Inc., a firm based in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania specializing in compaction tooling and wear parts. This acquisition is expected to close within the coming month, pending customary closing conditions.
Prism Technologies will be integrated into the Precision Solutions by Hyperion brand portfolio, bringing new capabilities and expanding the service range. This move is set to enhance Hyperion’s position in the market by leveraging Prism’s expertise in the development of compaction tooling and their extensive experience with hard materials such as carbide and ceramics.
