Ginger for morning sickness

Ginger is one of the common ingredients which is easily available in our kitchen. Ginger is a common natural remedy to treat nausea. Ginger juice soothes your stomach as it has stimulating properties.

For that, you have to take a teaspoon of ginger juice or you can even try ginger infused tea or ginger candies to get rid of uneasiness.

Mint for nausea

Mint is known as refreshing and cooling agent and it also helps you to get rid of nausea – vomiting sensation.

For this chew few leaves of mint or even smelling the leaves can help you to get rid of nausea.

Lemon juice reduces nausea symptoms

Lemon juice contains citric acid and sour taste of lemon reduces the symptoms of nausea. Lemon juice with pinch of salt and sugar is the best remedy for morning sickness.

You can mix ginger and lemon water together to feel better or you can drink plain lemon water.

Milk and rose water

As per Ayurveda, the concoction of rosewater and milk is an effective remedy for morning sickness. Add a drop of rose water to a glass of milk, boil the milk and drink the milk once it becomes warm. You can also drink a cup of rose milk with a teaspoon of ghee at bedtime daily.

Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a commonly available fermented product used for treating many medical conditions. It is also used as a flavouring agent and as preservative.

Mix a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and consume it every morning to get rid of morning sickness.

Coconut water used during pregnancy

Coconut water is rich in vitamins, minerals and fibres and has many health benefits. It helps to relieve constipation and heartburn which are also common symptoms during pregnancy. Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to a glass of coconut water. Sip the water for every fifteen minutes.

Spices during pregnancy

Few spices like fennel powder, cinnamon and cumin extract are best ingredients to get rid of nausea. These three spices are good for morning sickness. Research is going on to know the effects of these spices for treating nausea.
