Hintastica commissions water heater plant in Jadcherla, Telangana

Hintastica, a joint venture between Hindware Home Innovation and Groupe Atlantic, has started the production of heating appliances at its water heater plant in Jadcherla, Telangana, India.

The water heater factory built with an initial investment of INR 210 crores, is expected to help Hintastica increase its market share, and footprint in the water heater segment.

The heating appliances plant with an annual capacity of six lakh units of water heaters and heating appliances, will export products to Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka in the SAARC region.

Sandip Somany — Hindware Home Innovation Chairman said: “This plant is the key aspect of our joint venture with Groupe Atlantic and we are happy to commence production despite the challenges faced due to the pandemic.

“With the opening of the new manufacturing plant, we are confident to optimally increase our market share, and further strengthen our position in the water heater segment.”

The water heater plant in Jadcherla leverages advanced energy saving manufacturing equipment and renewable energy sources to minimize the carbon emissions.

It features approximately 1 Mega Watt solar panels, LED lamps, and underground rainwater storage tank.

Groupe Atlantic will provide Hintastica with technological know-how to manufacture heating appliances.

The Jadcherla water heater plant is initially producing square moulded and cylindrical storage water heater models ‘Alivio’ and ‘Ezro neo’ respectively as well as Kweik, a first portable water heater by Hindware Atlantic.
