Through its 90% owned subsidiary, Raddef Private Limited, a research and development enterprise specializing in radars and RF solutions, HFCL has designed a range of Surveillance Radars to meet diverse operational needs. These radars utilize Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) technology, known for its high accuracy, low power consumption, and resistance to interference. FMCW radars are versatile, with applications ranging from ground surveillance for border and parametric security to weather radar and navigation systems.

HFCL’s diverse variants of surveillance radars are portable and deployable in challenging terrains, making them exceptionally versatile for various modern applications. The company is also actively developing a state-of-the-art Drone Detection Radar, an essential component of modern drone detection systems. The global market for surveillance radars is expected to reach USD 12 billion per annum by 2030, up from the current market size of USD 6.87 billion.
