Hero MotoCorp opens flagship dealership in Buenos Aires

Hero MotoCorp has expanded its operations in Argentina by inaugurating a flagship dealership in Buenos Aires in partnership with Gilera Motors Argentina.

The Indian motorcycles and scooters manufacturer had recently announced plans to revamp its footprint in Argentina in collaboration with Gilera Motors, an Argentine automotive company.

Sanjay Bhan — Hero MotoCorp Global Business Head said: “We are happy to rapidly expand our operations in Argentina. We have already made significant progress since announcing our new association with Gilera Motors Argentina in October.

According to Hero MotoCorp, Gilera Motors Argentina will make investments with an objective to quickly grow all business operations for Hero MotoCorp’s motorcycles and scooters. The investments are anticipated to create around 500 new roles in the region.

Gilera Motors Argentina is also said to have expanded its automobile factory in Carlos Spegazzini Province of Buenos Aires to fully renovate its infrastructure and embrace the cutting-edge automotive technologies used in Hero MotoCorp vehicles.
