HCLTech expands alliance with Google Cloud to drive GenAI solutions in key industries
HCLTech, a global leader in technology services, has announced a significant expansion of its strategic alliance with Google Cloud, focusing on the development and implementation of industry-specific solutions powered by Gemini, HCLTech’s multimodal large language AI model. This collaboration aims to deliver high-value business solutions, with an initial emphasis on enhancing GenAI capabilities for clients within the manufacturing, healthcare, and telecom sectors.
Under this expanded partnership, HCLTech is set to empower 25,000 engineers with Google Cloud’s latest GenAI technologies. This initiative is designed to support clients throughout the entire AI project lifecycle, from the initial planning and development phases to testing and maintenance. The move aims to foster the development of new use cases and capabilities across HCLTech platforms and product offerings, significantly advancing the company’s AI-driven solutions.
HCLTech recently unveiled the HCLTech AI Force, a GenAI platform pre-configured to optimize the engineering lifecycle processes. With the integration of Gemini’s advanced functionalities, including code completion and summarization, the HCLTech AI Force platform is expected to enhance engineers’ ability to generate code, identify and resolve issues, and accelerate software project delivery times and quality for clients.
The partnership also intends to utilize Gemini models to bolster the range of industry solutions developed within HCLTech’s Cloud Native Labs and AI Labs. These dedicated facilities are designed to fast-track client innovation, staffed by top AI experts and engineers focused on refining GenAI projects utilizing Google Cloud’s infrastructure.
