HCL Technologies to help State Farm Insurance in IT modernization
HCL Technologies (HCLTech) said that it has been selected by American auto, home, and commercial insurance provider State Farm Insurance for modernizing its IT operations.
Under the engagement, the Indian IT company will help State Farm Insurance in transforming its IT service desk and infrastructure operations. For this, HCL Technologies will make use of its differentiated portfolio and execution capabilities to expedite the modernization of its hybrid cloud environment for the American insurer.
Ashley Pettit — State Farm Insurance Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer said: “HCLTech was selected because of its reputation in supporting Fortune 500 companies.
“Working successfully with them relies, in part, on the skills and knowledge of talented employees currently doing this work at State Farm.”
According to HCL Technologies, the partnership will modernize State Farm Insurance’s back-end IT services and infrastructure further via automation, advanced technology tools, and mature processes. This will help the American insurer to concentrate on critical technology priorities while increasing IT support experiences for its customers, employees, and agents, said HCL Technologies.
Certain employees of State Farm Insurance supporting the IT modernization work will transfer to HCL Technologies to continue their key role in delivering cutting-edge technology services to the insurer. These employees will be able to access The Indian IT firm’s global network and a range of opportunities across industries.
