HCL Technologies, an Indian IT company, has opened an innovation center in Mississauga, Ontario, which will be focused on digital acceleration.
From the new global delivery center (GDC), HCL will provide advanced technology solutions for its global client base to help expedite their digital transformation.
HCL will offer next-gen services such as digital and analytics solutions, cybersecurity, cloud consulting and migration, IT infrastructure and application services.
The Indian IT company said that it continues to invest significantly in Canada for building innovation and delivery capabilities and bolster its workforce.
Joelien Jose – HCL Technologies EVP and Country Head – Canada said: “From our newest center, clients can experience a whole new world of technological innovation enabled by leading edge immersive technologies, HCL’s best in class Intellectual property solutions and a unique design thinking approach to some of the most complex problems of Canadian enterprises.”
According to HCL Technologies, the Mississauga center has a seating capacity of 350. It will house co-innovation labs for customers for ideating, collaborating, developing and delivering futuristic solutions via next generation technologies in their business transformation journeys.
The company said that it will look to create 2,000 new jobs in the next three years in Canada.

In December 2020, HCL Technologies announced its entry into Vietnam by setting a subsidiary called HCL Vietnam Company with operations based in Hanoi.
