HCL Technologies launches dedicated VMware business unit

HCL Technologies has launched a dedicated VMware business unit with an aim to enable enterprises in unlocking the unexploited value of multi-cloud as well as app modernization.

The new HCL VMware business unit is said to combine the power of the Indian IT firm’s CloudSMART Framework with the Cross-Cloud services of VMware to help enterprises in expediting cloud transformation, scale operations of cloud-native platform, and empowering hybrid workforces.

HCL Technologies said that its new VMware business division is part of its strategic alliance partner ecosystem, which makes use of the CloudSMART Framework to deliver solutions for multi-cloud and app modernization.

The Indian IT services provider is expected to help enterprises take up the path of digital dominance by positioning transformation with objectives of the overall business while staying agile via cloud freedom and enterprise control enabled by the product and service offerings of VMware.

Recently, HCL Technologies entered into a partnership with tech major Microsoft for introducing a new digital contact center platform for providing digital transformation of customer service operations spanning multiple industries.
