HCL Technologies, C2L BIZ to expedite digital transformation of Malaysian insurer

HCL Technologies (HCLTech) is collaborating with insurtech company C2L BIZ to facilitate the digital transformation of business processes for an undisclosed Malaysian life insurance company.

As part of the engagement, HCL Technologies and C2L Biz have implemented the latter’s SymbioSys Sales Tool for the automation of lead management, sales quotation, sales collateral, and sales illustration to e-Application/Payment for the Malaysian life insurance company. The resulting transformation is expected to improve the customer experience, boost operational efficiency, and bring innovation to the insurer.

Although upgrading technology was the top priority for the Malaysian life insurer in meeting the expectations of the business and having a solution that had more features, better performance, and better UX/UI designs were important objectives, said HCL Technologies.

The Indian IT company stated that an extremely flexible, stable solution that has a solid structure is what the insurance company wanted.

SymbioSys Sales tool, designed around the concept of “low code / No code”, was found to be the appropriate solution. It speeds up time to market and launch of new products because of its flexible configuration.

A few of the other important characteristics of the tool were driven by the solution’s capability to manage sales end-to-end processes in the ground.

The tool’s microservices-based design has ready APIs to allow external user interfaces, OCR for document capture and validation, and remote collaboration with customers. It also offers a single solution that works with various OS and also the ability to support all browsers in order to increase overall user adoption.
