HCL Technologies and Google Cloud expand partnership in Generative AI

HCL Technologies (HCLTech), an Indian tech firm, and Google Cloud have unveiled their plans to broaden their strategic alliance, focusing on generative artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.

The aim of this collaboration is to enable businesses to fully utilize the generative AI technologies provided by Google Cloud.

HCLTech is actively using Google Cloud’s large language models (LLMs) to foster generative AI capabilities across various industries, corporate functions, innovation, and technological modernization.

By employing Google Cloud’s comprehensive suite of generative AI products and services, which includes Vertex AI, Generative AI Studio, Model Garden, and Generative AI App Builder, along with the foundational LLMs, HCLTech’s AI platforms and solutions will assist clients in harnessing the power of data and exploiting generative AI to the maximum.

To aid in the development of joint solutions and encourage the full adoption of generative AI, HCLTech plans to establish a Google Cloud Generative AI Center of Excellence (GenAI CoE). The GenAI CoE, with AI expertise from HCLTech’s Cloud Native Labs located in London, Dallas, and Noida, India, will spearhead innovation and generative AI adoption across various sectors.

Additionally, HCLSoftware, a renowned enterprise software solutions provider, plans to fast-track its digital transformation by adopting Google Workspace, Duet AI for Google Workspace and Developers, and deploying Vertex AI to augment client success and support.
