Gulf Oil and Piaggio extend partnership to deliver high-performance lubricants until 2032

Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited has renewed its exclusive partnership with Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited (Piaggio India) to continue delivering high-performance lubricants for Piaggio’s two-wheeler segment. The extended agreement, which was initially signed in 2020, now runs until 2032, marking a significant milestone for both companies as they aim to strengthen their positions in the competitive two-wheeler lubricants market.

The renewed collaboration will focus on developing advanced lubricants tailored for Piaggio’s entire two-wheeler range, including scooters, motorcycles, and superbikes. Gulf Oil, a prominent player in India’s lubricant industry, will continue to serve as Piaggio’s official lubricant partner, providing products for factory fill, workshop services, and retail channels. This partnership also extends to select export markets, highlighting its strategic importance.

In a statement, Ravi Chawla, Managing Director and CEO of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited, underscored the value of the renewed agreement. He emphasized that the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to innovation and enhancing mobility solutions. Chawla noted that Gulf Oil has co-developed synthetic lubricants designed to improve engine performance and durability, further reinforcing the brand’s leadership in the two-wheeler lubricants market.
