Great Oregon Wine acquires Willamette Valley winery Duck Pond Cellars

The Great Oregon Wine Company (GOWC), an Oregon-based winery owned by Integrated Beverage Group, has acquired Duck Pond Cellars, a Willamette Valley winery for an undisclosed price.

Duck Pond Cellars, a family-owned winery was founded in 1991 by Doug and Jo Ann Fries and is known for making Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wine varieties.

Great Oregon Wine Company acquisition of Duck Pond Cellars also includes a winemaking facility, a tasting room and also 300 acres in the Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley and Umpqua Valley.

Through the acquisition of Duck Pond Cellars, the wine production capacity of Great Oregon Wine Company will increase to more than 300,000 cases, thereby putting it in a leading position in Oregon wine production.
