Gravita India begins production from aluminium recycling plant in Senegal

Gravita India Limited, an Indian recycling company, announced that it has begun commercial production of aluminium at its new recycling plant in Senegal through its step down subsidiary in the West African country.

The aluminium recycling plant in Senegal has a yearly capacity of about 4,000 MTPA.

Gravita India hopes to get additional revenue of about INR 60 crores per year from the Senegal recycling plant with a gross margin of approximately 20%.

The Indian recycling company invested around INR 3.5 crores for the procurement and commissioning of the Senegal aluminium recycling plant.

Gravita India will be procuring domestic aluminium waste for production from the recycling plant, which will serve the needs of aluminium die casting components manufacturing industries of Auto & FMCG sector situated in China, Vietnam, and Japan.
