Genesys International to create 3D digital twin of Mecca for Saudi Arabia

In a landmark development, Genesys International Corporation’s subsidiary in Saudi Arabia, Genesys Middle East Ltd., has been granted a prestigious contract by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 3D Digital Twin mapping of the Holy City of Mecca. This ambitious project, valued at Rs. 26 crores in its current phase, is a historic foray into digital twin technology for urban planning, modeling, and monitoring.

The contract, which requires completion within six months from the Letter of Award (LoA), is a significant endorsement of Genesys’ proprietary platform, Oyster 3D Maps. The project scope encompasses critical aspects like crowd management and disaster planning in one of the world’s most visited locations.
