Food business news : General Mills and have partnered to come up with new sour and sweet candy-flavored tubes in the United States starting this month.

The new yogurt product range combines the of General Mills with the of Mondelez, and will join the Yoplait Go-Gurt yogurt range.

Branded as Yoplait Go-Gurt Sour Patch Kids yogurt, the new product range will be available in Redberry and Blue Raspberry candy flavors.

General Mills says that consumers will find the Yoplait Go-Gurt Sour Patch Kids yogurt to be both sour and sweet.

Commenting on the launch of the Yoplait Go-Gurt Sour Patch Kids yogurt range, Tsubasa Tanaka – Business Unit Director of General Mills Yogurt, said: “As a brand, we are always looking for new ways to create more fun for families.

The Go-Gurt Sour Patch Kids yogurt will come in 8 and 16 count cartons in convenient, grab-and-go 56g tubes. General Mills claims that like all Go-GURT flavors, the Yoplait Go-Gurt Sour Patch Kids yogurt contains low fat with and is devoid of high fructose corn syrup. Each tube of the Yoplait Go-Gurt Sour Patch Kids yogurt is to contain 50 calories per serving.
