Gallagher acquires retail insurance broker Stewart, Brimner, Peters

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (Gallagher) has acquired Stewart, Brimner, Peters & Company, Inc. (SBP), a retail insurance broker based in Fort Wayne, Indiana for an undisclosed price.

Stewart, Brimner, Peters provides a range of personal and commercial insurance products in addition to employee benefits consulting to clients across central and northern Indiana.

According to Arthur J. Gallagher, Jason Brimner, John Brimner, Mick Stewart, Jeff Peters, and their team will continue operating from their existing location under the leadership of Sean Gallagher, who is the head of the retail property/casualty brokerage operations of Gallagher’s Great Lakes region.
