G R Infraprojects Limited said that it has prevailed as L-1 bidder in a tender called by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for developing a six-lane section of NH-754A in Punjab under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I (Package-1) on hybrid annuity mode (HAM) by bidding an amount of INR 927 crores.
According to the Gurugram-based construction engineering company, the contract is for the Amritsar-Bathinda Greenfield section, which will stretch from the Tiba village on NE-5A to junction with Moga Jalandhar road (NH-703) located near Dharamkot (from km 0+000 to km 39+000).
The stretch is a part of Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor.
G R Infraprojects said that the first year operations and maintenance costs are INR 3.87 crores. The construction is expected to be completed 730 days from the appointed date, while the operation period will be 15 years from the date of beginning commercial operations.
