Tronics India Private Limited, a subsidiary of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, has announced securing a significant contract for the advanced KAVACH train safety system. The order, awarded by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works in West Bengal, is valued between ₹500 crore and ₹600 crore, with an expected execution period of one year.

The scope of this high-profile contract includes the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of on-board KAVACH systems as per specifications from the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO). Additionally, the project entails annual maintenance services for 11 years, reflecting a comprehensive approach to safety and functionality. The intricate supply tasks will involve cabling, wiring, and integrating the system with locomotive KAVACH infrastructure.
