Falchani lithium project : Plateau Energy Metals engages advisor to rope in investment partners
Plateau Energy Metals said that it has engaged Emily Sarah Hersh of financial consultancy firm DCDB Group for giving it consulting and advisory services on getting strategic investment partners for its Falchani lithium project in Peru.
The Canadian exploration and development company has signed a “shares for services agreement” with Foxrock Investment, a subsidiary of DCDB Group, under which the latter will get up to 100% of the monthly consulting fee via the issuance of the former’s common shares.
Emily Sarah Hersh, who is a Managing Partner of DCDB Group, is a lithium and battery industry expert. She handles projects in South America for firms in the mining, energy, oil and gas sectors.
Her expertise in lithium includes project due diligence, country risk assessment, and emerging battery technologies.
The Falchani lithium project, which is located in Puno district in southeast Peru, is targeted to be brought into production as an open pit mine. As per a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) filed by Plateau Energy Metals in March 2020, the Falchani lithium project is projected to yield nearly 63,000 tonnes per annum of lithium concentrate (Li2CO3) over its 33-year mine life.
