EzFill to acquire Yoshi fueling division, expanding mobile fueling services
EzFill Holdings Inc., a leading name in mobile fueling, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the fueling division of Yoshi, Inc., marking a pivotal step in its nationwide expansion. The acquisition will allow EzFill to begin operations in four additional states—California, Tennessee, Texas, and Michigan—solidifying its presence in the competitive on-demand fueling market and introducing diesel fueling services to these regions.
Under the agreement, EzFill will integrate Yoshi’s mobile fueling assets, customer base, and operations into its infrastructure, enabling the Miami-based company to scale its services and leverage its growing footprint. By incorporating Yoshi’s established markets, EzFill aims to strengthen relationships with its national customers while expanding its innovative, environmentally friendly fueling solutions.
Speaking about the agreement, EzFill CEO Yehuda Levy described it as a transformative milestone in the company’s vision to lead the U.S. mobile fueling industry. He noted that consumers increasingly demand convenience and efficiency in services, particularly in areas like vehicle fueling, and emphasized that EzFill is poised to meet these expectations with its broader operational reach.
Yoshi, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, has gained recognition for its tech-enabled mobility services, which include mobile EV charging, virtual vehicle inspections, and preventative maintenance. Backed by strategic investors such as General Motors Ventures, ExxonMobil, and Bridgestone Americas, Yoshi has built a reputation for delivering cutting-edge solutions to customers. This agreement reflects Yoshi’s shift toward prioritizing its core focus areas, including advanced mobility technologies for fleets.
Bryan Frist, CEO and Co-Founder of Yoshi, commented that the transition of its fueling division to EzFill aligns with Yoshi’s strategic goals. He remarked that EzFill’s industry expertise ensures Yoshi’s customers will continue to receive exceptional service as Yoshi redirects its resources toward fleet-centric offerings.
EzFill’s acquisition comes at a time when the on-demand economy is reshaping consumer expectations across industries. By eliminating the need for traditional gas stations, EzFill offers businesses and individuals a seamless fueling experience, reflecting its commitment to cost-effectiveness, environmental sustainability, and convenience.
The agreement, subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to finalize by December 2, 2024. EzFill has expressed confidence in its ability to capitalize on the expanded markets and accelerate revenue growth through enhanced service offerings.
This acquisition is set to further bolster EzFill’s position as a leader in the mobile fueling space while enhancing its ability to cater to a growing demand for innovative fueling solutions.
