Petrofac has bagged a contract worth more than $100 million pertaining to the Erawin oil field in Libya from Zallaf Libya Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Company.
Under the contract, the Jersey-based oilfield services provider will be responsible for delivering the early production facilities for the Erawin field development project phase 1.
According to Petrofac, the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) scope of work covers surface equipment, which include well pads and flowlines at the Erawin oil field in southwest Libya.
The contract also includes a pipeline for transporting crude oil for nearly 100km to a control room, substation and telecom system located at the El Sharara oil field.
Apart from the latest contract win, Petrofac is presently offering front-end engineering design (FEED) and conceptualization studies for upstream and downstream for various clients in Libya.
