Engineers India, CSIR-CSIO to commercialize Earthquake Warning System

Engineers India Limited (EIL) and CSIR-CSIO have agreed to jointly commercialize Earthquake Warning System developed by the latter and in operation for Delhi Metro Rail Corporation since August 2015.

As part of the agreement signed by the parties, Engineers India Limited has been engaged as the technology commercialization partner of CSIR-CSIO for the next five years.

According to Engineers India, the agreement will help save lives in the future as well as help the two organizations to extend the scope of application areas such as critical infrastructures/installations where the technology can be utilized.
