EAB acquires college research and decision platform Cappex

EAB, a US-based education technology company, has acquired Cappex, a college research and decision platform for helping students search for both schools and scholarships.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Cappex platform is said to offer free tools for students to find their best-fit colleges and scholarships from over 3,000 college profiles.

Cappex also closely works with admissions officers at several colleges and universities to help them meet their enrollment targets by going beyond student search for generating qualified inquiries online.

“Connecting our partners with Cappex’s growing student audience can help institutions thrive amid continued market turbulence.”

According to EAB, the addition of the Cappex platform to its Enrollment Services suite will boost its ability to help colleges and universities find and engage potential students in spite of major shifts in the search process for colleges.
