DOF Subsea bags contract extension for the Skandi Africa vessel

DOF Subsea, a Norwegian subsea operating company, has secured a contract extension for the Skandi Africa construction vessel.

It was bagged by the company after the undisclosed client exercised an option for the subsea construction and equipment installation vessel under an existing contract.

According to DOF Subsea, the new commitment will be effective until February 2024 and will begin in direct continuation with the existing commitment.

Skandi Africa, which is a high-end subsea vessel, is designed for carrying out deepwater subsea construction and flexlay operations in harsh environments.
