DJO acquires orthopedic implants provider Trilliant Surgical
DJO, a Texas-based medical technologies provider, has acquired Trilliant Surgical, an orthopedic foot and ankle implants provider, for an undisclosed price.
The acquisition, which was announced in January 2021, is said to help DJO’s further expansion into the foot and ankle surgery market.
It follows DJO’s acquisition of the Scandinavian total ankle replacement (STAR) system in 2020. DJO became a subsidiary of Colfax in 2018 following a $3.15 billion worth acquisition.

Trilliant Surgical, which was founded in 2007, designs, develops, and distributes small bone implant systems to foot and ankle surgeons for carrying out elective and trauma procedures.
The Houston-based orthopedic implants provider currently has over 15 product lines for procedures related to forefoot, midfoot, rearfoot, and ankle.
Additionally, Trilliant Surgical provides the Arsenal Foot Plating System, a titanium alloy plating system, which is said to enable surgeons to address all levels of fusions, osteotomies, fractures in the forefoot, midfoot and rearfoot.
