Marriott International, Inc. has achieved a significant milestone with the grand opening of the St. Regis Longboat Key Resort in Florida, marking its 9,000th property. This luxury beachfront retreat, situated on 18 scenic acres in Longboat Key, offers an unparalleled experience with 168 elegantly designed guestrooms, including 26 suites, each providing stunning ocean views. The resort also features 69 exclusive branded residences, enhancing the luxury living experience on Florida’s Suncoast.

Developed by Unicorp National Developments, the St. Regis Longboat Key Resort was meticulously designed by SB Architects, Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA Miami), and Dutch East Design. This new property represents the largest development on Longboat Key in over 50 years, setting a new benchmark for the St. Regis brand’s expanding portfolio.

The opening event included a champagne sabrage ceremony in the resort’s Great Hall, offering panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico. This grand celebration underscores Marriott International’s leadership in the luxury hotel sector, with a portfolio comprising seven brands, 522 luxury hotels and resorts across 72 countries and territories, and a robust pipeline of 233 signed projects in 57 countries.

The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort also highlights Marriott’s expanding presence in branded residences. The 69 private residences, which sold out within a year, feature spacious outdoor terraces and private elevator access. Marriott now boasts a portfolio of 139 branded residential properties in 32 countries, with an additional 122 projects under development across 38 countries.
