Cyient pledges to become carbon and water neutral business by 2025

Indian technology company Cyient has announced a commitment to become a carbon and water neutral business by the year 2025.

In this connection, the company is said to have adopted a holistic sustainability framework and has launched its first sustainability report.

According to Cyient, by adopting the framework, the company can ensure that the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects are bolstered across the value chain with a leadership commitment that is strong, collaborative partnership, and empowered ecosystem to enable sustainable value generation for the long-term.

The sustainability framework of Cyient has 13 focus areas, which are distributed across the pillars – responsible, equitable, and accountable in line with the United Nations’ sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Earlier this week, Cyient launched a software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based solution and decision support platform called Mobius. Hosted on Microsoft Azure, Mobius is designed to consolidate the outage planning and approval process from a central location to offer enhanced information flow for streamlining schedule plans.
