Former Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishna has lodged a formal complaint against the makers of “Kalki 2898 AD,” alleging that the film undermines and misrepresents Hindu religious beliefs. The complaint accuses the film of a gross distortion of Lord Kalki’s portrayal and demands that the film be withdrawn from distribution on digital platforms until these historical inconsistencies are addressed.

In a statement to IANS, Acharya Krishna Prasad clarified that the intent behind the complaint was not to harass or trouble the filmmakers but to ensure that artistic representations do not compromise religious sentiments. He emphasized that the complaint seeks to uphold respect for Sanatan Dharma and prevent potential mockery of sacred traditions.
