We face many discomforts in our normal daily life and they go away if specific attention is given to them by following the Doctor’s advice. They are what we call the “Common Ailments of Human Body”. The Human Body Diseases vary in severity and diversity.

Any part of the Human body may have the disease or disorder.

The most common diseases and disorders of the Human Body are listed below:

  • Allergies
  • Aching Feet
  • Backaches
  • Disturbances of Normal Sleep
  • Headaches (occasional)
  • Indigestion
  • Upper Respiratory Tract Infections
  • Weight problems
  • Weather Discomforts

After identifying these common disorders, proper attention and care has to be taken to get rid of these common disorders and we can control them.

For some disorders like gout long term therapy will be required under self supervision after identifying the disease and got confirmed by the physician. If the symptoms of the disease gets worsened, we need to consult the doctor.

If we are allergic to certain types of foods, we can prevent those allergies by avoiding the foods causing the allergic reactions.

Weight problems can be controlled by following self discipline and by having self control during intake of the diet rich in calories. Regular exercise should be done to avoid weight problems.

Backaches can be prevented by maintaining proper posture and using comfortable seats of chairs ad relaxing in between the work.

Weather discomforts can be controlled by selecting the proper clothing which is comfortable in the respective season.

Some of the disorders are grouped into organ disorders and they are discussed in brief below:

1. Skin Disorders:

The skin is the outermost layer of our body and is a primary physical barrier to protect our body from infectious agents.

But sometimes skin may be susceptible to infections by bacteria, fungus, virus and exposure to sunlight. Skin may also be susceptible to physical injuries.

Some skin disorders may also be hereditary. Skin rashes may be due to allergic reactions on the skin.

2. Disorders of the Nervous System:

If any damage occurs to the nervous system by any physical injury or diseases. It impairs both physical and mental functions. The nervous system is affected by injuries, infections, tumors and degenerative conditions.

3. Disorders of the Cardiovascular System:

The disorders of the cardiovascular system includes common heart diseases like structural defects, damage due to restricted blood supply, viral infections and heart muscle disorders.

4. Disorders of the immune system:

Our body gets infected with micro-organisms like bacteria, fungi, virus and protozoa. Immune system helps in protecting our body against these microbes.

Our immune system can be affected due to allergies and auto immune disorders and will be unable to protect our body from these infections. These are called immunodeficiency diseases.

5. Disorders of the Digestive System:

The disorders of the digestive system is due to the food that we take. Viral infections and cancer also affects the digestive system.
