Camp Run-A-Mutt to open new dog daycare and boarding location at Norfolk

Camp Run-A-Mutt Entrepreneurial Resources, a cage-free doggie daycare and boarding provider, is opening its first location – Camp Run-A-Mutt Norfolk in Virginia at 2633 Wyoming Ave, Norfolk, Virginia 23513 on 7 March.

The owner of the newest Camp Run-A-Mutt location is Lisa Torres, who has been working in the IT field for the last 34 years, out of which 11 were in the US Army. However, Lisa Torres has always been passionate about working with dogs, which led to the opening of the dog daycare and boarding facility.

Lisa Torres is said to have been a pet parent to seven Boston Terriers, a couple of German Shepherds, and seven mixed breeds.

The Camp Run-A-Mutt Norfolk location will officially begin operations on 9 March.

Lisa Torres, commenting on the Camp Run-A-Mutt Norfolk opening, said: “In our area we will be the only location that is both cage-free and has live webcams. We are also the only daycare and boarding facility in this specific area of Norfolk [near the airport].”

Camp Run-A-Mutt Norfolk will have more than 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor play space along with a splash pond, and the well known Muttcams, which will enable pet parents to see their dog from anywhere with a cellular or internet connection. The hours of Camp Run-A-Mutt Norfolk will be Monday – Friday from 6:30 am – 7:00 pm, and on Saturday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm with pricing to start at $19 for half a day and $50 for an overnight.
