Blue Star unveils new energy-efficient deep freezers to boost India’s cold chain capabilities
Blue Star Limited has made a significant leap forward in the commercial refrigeration sector by introducing a new series of energy-efficient and eco-friendly deep freezers, ranging in capacities from 60 to 600 litres. Aimed at diverse customer segments for various applications, these deep freezers are designed to cater to the needs of dairy and ice cream vendors, frozen food industries, restaurants, convenience stores, the hospitality sector, and supermarkets. With prices starting from Rs 16,000/-, Blue Star aims to provide solutions that are both affordable and high in quality.
The new line of deep freezers is embedded with superior technologies ensuring efficient cooling and greater heat transfer. They are super tropicalized, capable of operating in up to 47℃ ambient temperatures, and feature a wide operating voltage range of 160V to 270V. Unique attributes such as elegant control panels with smart eye technology, square design with LED light, and Quadracool technology for uniform cooling, set these products apart in the market.
Blue Star reaffirms its commitment to the ‘Make in India, Make for the Globe’ initiative by manufacturing the entire range of deep freezers at its modern facility in Wada. This initiative is complemented by the addition of a new manufacturing line, following a significant capital investment, to produce the entire range starting from the smallest 60 litres units. The Wada facility, equipped with the latest automation technologies and BIS certification, along with the Ahmedabad plant, underscores Blue Star’s dedication to enhancing India’s manufacturing prowess.
