Big Joe Forklifts, an American forklift and material handling dealer, has launched two new Walkie Counterbalance Stackers, CB30 and CB35, as a safer and more productive option to traditional rider forklifts.

Ideal for smaller facilities or as an additional piece of equipment in larger ones, these new stackers, with their 3,000 lb. (CB30) and 3,500 lb. (CB35) capacities, are particularly suited for environments where high speed travel is not essential or where rider forklifts could be hazardous to pedestrians.

The new CB30 and CB35 models boast advanced load handling capabilities and maneuverability, courtesy of updated controls and a compact chassis design. With a maximum ground clearance of 4.6 inches, they are equipped to navigate dock transitions, thus simplifying the trailer loading or unloading process. The CB30/CB35 machines are agile and capable of making tight turns, thanks to standard electric power steering and a 180-degree steer arc. They are beneficial in various material handling applications including warehouse, manufacturing, and retail deliveries.

Big Joe Forklifts’ user-friendly designs extend to these new stackers, which feature intuitive operation handle controls for forward and reverse travel, and other features such as proportional lift and lower levers, a mass tilt, a horn, and a reversing switch. Big Joe Forklifts’ Chief Marketing Officer, Bill Pedriana, said the new CB30/CB35 Walkie Stackers offer a remarkable solution for load handling over short distances and are an excellent alternative to traditional forklifts.

The CB series stackers can be configured in two or three stages for either low- or high-level handling and have a lift height of up to 157 inches. They provide hydraulic tilt for efficient handling of various load sizes and have advanced power systems, offering facilities the option to use an AGM battery pack, industrial lead acid batteries, or a 205ah UL recognized lithium battery.
