Austco Healthcare bags clinical workflow solutions contract at St. Paul’s Hospital

Austco Marketing & Service (Canada), a subsidiary of Austco Healthcare, has inked an AUD $7.4M contract to provide its advanced Tacera alarm management and clinical workflow solution for the forthcoming 548-bed St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia.

This contract signifies the most substantial single award in Austco Healthcare’s history, involving over 1,100 full IP patient stations, 1,200 clinical workflow terminals, and Webservices interfaces for EMR and RTLS system integrations.

Set to open its doors in 2026, the New St. Paul’s Hospital and Health Campus is currently under construction and promises to be a pivotal healthcare establishment. This facility will cater to the evolving needs of patients, families, and the community by merging critical, emergency, surgical, and acute hospital-based care with community and primary care, potentially revolutionizing Canadian healthcare.

The state-of-the-art system to be implemented by Austco Healthcare will expedite the relay of critical messages, such as medical emergency notifications, to application stations across the facility.
