Aurionpro Transit secures contract for Mexico’s Rapid Transit Project

Aurionpro Transit Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary specialized in transit business solutions, has announced a significant win, securing an order for the supply of validators and hardware for Merida’s Rapid Transit Bus Project in Mexico. Awarded by the Government of the State of Yucatán, the first phase of this project is valued at $1.2 million and will be executed through MRP Technology Solutions, Aurionpro’s regional partner.

Yucatán Government’s Sustainable Mobility Vision Realized through VayVen

The Yucatán Government aims to create a cutting-edge, sustainable mobility system known locally as VayVen. This vision encompasses the modernization of fare collection systems and equipment, enabling contactless cards, QR codes, and bank cards as acceptable payment methods. Aurionpro Transit will contribute its SCV500+ onboard validators and GV7 Gate validators to this project, aligning perfectly with the government’s vision for efficient and smart transportation solutions.
