Aurionpro Solutions Limited said that its Singapore-based subsidiary — SC SOFT PTE LTD has been chosen by the Maldives Transport Contracting Company (MTCC) as the solution provider of the EMV Open Loop Account Based ticketing system.
The contract is part of the digitization of transportation solutions in the Maldives for Maldives Transport Contracting Company.
According to Aurionpro Solutions, SC SOFT will be the technology partner in this project, while the Bank of Maldives (BML) and Mastercard are the financial partners.
Through the initiative, Maldives Transport Contracting Company aims to launch contactless and digital payments on its transport network, thereby making travel across the Maldives simpler in a cost-effective manner.
People can buy tickets using the co-branded card issued by the Bank of Maldives mobile app or reservation portal for QR code ticketing.

Aurionpro Solutions is a Mumbai-based technology products and solutions provider. Last month, the company launched the AuroPay payment platform for offering online payment services in a secured manner.
