Jagan Mohan Reddy underscored the disparity between his government’s actions and the previous TDP regime. Boasting a historic expenditure of 1,75,007 crore on various farmers’ welfare schemes, he emphasized the consistent aid provided over the past four years, with 33,209.81 crores disbursed under Rythu Bharosa alone, surpassing the original promises made in the YSRC election manifesto.
Reforming Agricultural Infrastructure and Power Supply for Daytime Farming
The Chief Minister went on to discuss his government’s achievements in agricultural infrastructure and power supply, contrasting it with the TDP government’s struggles. Reddy proudly noted the establishment of 10,778 Rythu Bharosa Kendras and the commitment to supplying nine-hour free power to farmers, all part of an initiative to enhance the agricultural productivity and livelihood of Andhra’s farmers.

In a firm stance against corporate monopolies in the dairy sector, Chief Minister Reddy called out Naidu for prioritizing his own interests over those of dairy farmers. He boasted that the current government has corrected this injustice, ensuring that every farmer in Andhra Pradesh receives a fair price for their milk production.
