Amentum, a renowned technology and engineering firm, has been awarded a coveted seat on the ten-year Multiple-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Gateway to Sustainment (G2S) contract, with an impressive maximum value of $3.2 billion. This contract empowers Amentum to develop, engineer, and rapidly deploy innovative technologies for the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM), Defense Logistics Agency, and other DOD and Federal Agencies.
“This is yet another fantastic opportunity for Amentum to showcase our state-of-the-art solutions and capitalize on our technology and engineering modernization expertise for the U.S. Army,” commented Jill Bruning, President of Amentum’s Engineering, Science, and Technology Group.
Under the G2S IDIQ contract, Amentum is primed to deliver aggressive, scalable, and agile engineering solutions, accelerating the acquisition and deployment of critical systems such as counter-IED and mine detection, electronic warfare, aircraft survivability, and training. In addition, Amentum is well-positioned to offer ancillary engineering, obsolescence monitoring, and test and evaluation services that could be ordered on G2S.
Amentum’s sterling reputation for providing scientific solutions, technological advancements, and engineering modernization positions it perfectly to play a pivotal role in this IDIQ contract. Amentum will contribute to the program’s vital goals of supply chain agility, hybrid organic contractor support, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), and Form, Fit, and Function replacement parts.
Jack Kasiski, Senior Vice-President of Operations at Amentum, underscored the significance of the G2S contract. “G2S enables Amentum to collaborate closely with the government in sustaining our operational forces,” he remarked.
