Ajman residential fire accident damages 64 apartments

Authorities in Ajman, UAE, have successfully subdued a massive fire that erupted early Tuesday in a residential building. The incident took place in Tower 02 of the Ajman One complex. Civil defence and police teams worked to control and put out the flames, which had engulfed part of the residential building. Thankfully, there have been no reports of injuries from the incident.

In a later update, Ajman Police released details about the extent of the damage caused by the fire. According to their report, a total of 64 apartments and ten vehicles suffered damage due to the blaze.

The Director-General of Police Operations at Ajman Police, Brigadier Abdullah Saif Al Matrooshi, indicated that a mobile police station was established at the incident site. This facility enabled residents to report loss of items and helped in securing the site.

To aid in the aftermath of the fire, seven buses were provided by the emirate’s Transport Authority. In collaboration with the Red Crescent, these buses transported residents from Tower 02 to various hotels in Ajman and Sharjah.
