Adani Wilmar launches restaurant style Kohinoor Hyderabadi Biryani Kit

Adani Wilmar Limited (AWL) has expanded its ready-to-cook range with the launch of the Kohinoor Hyderabadi Biryani Kit.

According to the Indian fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) food company, the do-it-yourself (DIY) biryani kit from the Kohinoor brand helps people to prepare restaurant-style authentic biryani in 30 minutes.

The brand-new DIY biryani kit will be available in two variants, which are the Hyderabadi variant and the to-be-launched Lucknowi variant, both priced at INR 159.

It is currently available in metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru.

The biryani kit includes 200gms of the finest quality basmati rice, 125gms of biryani masala paste, 2gms of aromatic spices, as well as 12gms of raita seasoning. The addition of meat or vegetables can be done during the preparation of the biryani, said Adani Wilmar, a joint venture between the Adani Group and the Wilmar Group.

The Kohinoor Hyderabadi Biryani Kit is now available on Amazon and on Adani Wilmar’s own D2C app Fortune Online and its Fortune Mart retail stores.

Kohinoor Biryani Kit will be sold in contemporary format stores like Reliance, D-Mart, and others, as well as through e-commerce platforms such as Swiggy, Flipkart, Big Basket, BlinkIt, and general trade stores, including high-end and self-service stores.

Last summer, Adani Wilmar acquired the Kohinoor Brand domestic (India region) from McCormick Switzerland.
