Suresh P Manglani, Executive Director & CEO of ATGL, emphasized the environmental urgency and the role of this partnership in mitigating air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. “This partnership with INOXCVA shall help ATGL in furthering phased transition of long haul heavy vehicles, buses currently using HSD/diesel to LNG helping over 30% reduction in CO2 and GHG emissions,” Manglani stated. The initiative is also expected to fast-track the establishment of LNG stations across the nation, encouraging fleet operators to adopt LNG as a transportation fuel.
